Description
A vintage sixties period photocopy of a set of lyrics to the 1968 Beatles song ‘The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill’. The lyric sheet is of the type that was used in EMI Studios, Abbey Road, London when the group was recording the song in 1968 during sessions for the White Album.
In Peter Jackson’s ‘Get Back’ film members of The Beatles can be seen using an almost identical kind of typed lyric sheet but, obviously, relating to titles from what was to be the ‘Let It Be’ album.
The sheet measures 25.5cm x 25.2cm (10 inches x 10 inches). There is creasing and minor tears to the right edge of the sheet. The condition is very good minus.
