Description

A one-page letter in the hand of Jeff Lynne, George Harrison’s friend and producer, in black ballpoint pen that reads:
‘BOB, The music shows some great ideas, but unfortunately the singing is messy + a bit out of time. The second song sounds good but again the lead voice doesn’t do the song justice. I hope this criticism is a help to you it’s meant to be! Good luck with your music all the best Jeff Lynne’.
The letter measures 12.2cm x 17cm (4.75 inches x 6.8 inches). It has been trimmed on top and bottom edge. The letter has been mounted onto card. The condition is very good.
Jeff’s letter was a response to an aspiring musician who lived in Shard End, the same area in Birmingham from which Jeff hails.
