A collection of five large format square colour slides of The Mojos performing at the Cavern Club, Liverpool in the 1960s. Four of the slides show the band performing on stage during Sunday Night At The Cavern, the remaining slide is a posed image of the group. It is highly unusual to find colour images taken inside the Cavern from the sixties.
The slides are from the collection of the Cavern Club compère Bob Wooler. Bob was a pivotal figure in the Merseyside music scene of the early sixties. He introduced The Beatles countless times during their 292 appearances at The Cavern and was a great ambassador for the group. The lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Tracks Ltd. letterhead confirming that the items are from the collection of Bob Wooler.
Each slide is housed in a white cardboard mount measuring 7cm x 7cm (2.75 inches x 2.75 inches).
The slides are not sold with copyright.
The condition of the slides is excellent.
